J. Cain & Co. Panama Pacifico AEO Certification
In 2005, the World Customs Organization (WCO) established the framework of standards to ensure and facilitate global trade within which the figure of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) was created, which consists of a voluntary certification program that stimulates companies to incorporate suitable levels of security in their foreign trade operations.
Within the objectives of this program is mainly to ensure security in the logistics chain and facilitate legitimate trade through secure logistics chains and collaboration agreements between the National Customs Authority and the private sector.
J. Cain Panama Pacifico, S.A., becomes the first logistics services company of the Special Economic Zone Panama Pacifico to become AEO certified.
Since 2017 J.Cain was certified as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) and last December, it expanded this certification to Panama Pacifico, being recognized by Customs as a safe and reliable operator in the logistics chain.
